Conflict metals refer to metals such as gold, tantalum, tungsten, tin, cobalt, etc. that originate from mining areas in conflict areas such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, are smuggled through trade routes, are controlled by non-governmental armed forces or illegal military factions.
Fast-PCB prohibits the use of conflict metals and hopes that suppliers will comply with the Code of Conduct of the Electronics Industry Citizenship Alliance, only purchasing materials from suppliers responsible for the environment and society. All suppliers are not allowed to purchase and use conflict metals, and can prioritize purchasing metals from the EICC-GeSI certified list of conflict free metal smelters.
To support this, Fast-PCB promises to require suppliers to inform them immediately if there are conflicting metals used to provide Fast-PCB's products.
Sudden! Meiguang has not passed the review! Stop purchasing!
